This is the project that never end for me. I want to work on it all the time. remaking and remaking just won"t work for the sake of completion... but I am sooo into it! This book process has surely informed my project book as it has also given me some new symbols to chew on back in my studio that are a natural off shoot of my history. My connection to artists like Leslie Dill, Louise Bourgeois and sorry for the cliche but Frida Kahlo (whose sketch books have wow-ed me since the early eighties,) is palpable and overflowing onto these pages... I am working rather obsessively, not from a place of competition but from a place of complete engagement which is not a space I have been in for awhile.
