The Altered book ...I wanted to do a work that had great meaning for me. I found the book ( at BigLOts) called Camp. After reading bits of it, I was taken back to my camp experience. The Best place to find the best in oneself! The word web helped bring even more images out of my psyche ! Now, I have to limit the images . To bring an image into the essence of what it" is " is the hard part. Choose. What gave me more emotion about camp? songs, hikes, friends, leaving, smells of pine....
Then using the various techniques gave me more choices. Yikes! Should I enhance my comfortable skills or learn and use the new ones? I enjoy the challenge of new. It was a freeing time to work. Although,I don't feel satisfied with the whole book. I feel i overworked the pages...I will do more ...or cut out more.
I'm learning. This is a Great springboard project..maybe i will take a page and do it in Oils!
