Oh to embrace the difference between former definitions of "altered book art" ! In this class we are using a mind opening approach that transcends the very definition of the art form from what can be a trite experience in decorative technique exhibitionism to recycling old books by reusing them as a ground for idea development. This truly sheds a new light on the concept as I set my judgement aside and go for it.
