Sandra, You should explain the idea behind your altered book (esp. the ocala with the horns that were door handles!), so that people can not only appreciate the beauty but also your ability to take what you have available and make it work for you.
Sandra, I saw these images last night in the meeting. They are beautiful. The images navigate the gutter well and have a strong color scheme. The neutral color for the start of these pages works well.
Thank you. The biggest hurdle for me with this class was posting pictures on the blog! When success arrived I was too overwhelmed for words. Yes, The imagery you see in each piece was derived from the original images in the book. The Ankole Cow was built off the photo of classically styled brass door handles(the horns)and the woman was born from the under-lying image. On each page of the altered book I allowed original imagery to show through. Thanks for your comments!
