This image from Francesco Clemente's Fifty One Days On Mt. Abu, is reminiscent of the Waldorf way of introducing painting and color to young children. By using very watered down primary colors, wet water color paper and large brushes, one can explore with the media without restraint. It is a discovery exercise. In addition, I see the therapeutic effects of working with a watered down medium. One needn't worry about outcome or perfection, the image is secondary.
