Tammy, Translation, Project Book

In my work, I have done a TON of fliers, posters and logo designs. Coming from a department that is not inherently creative, I often have had to fight against the idea that just slapping a Mickey Mouse on a poster does not necessarily make a good design, nor does it necessarily convey the needed message. With the Project Book, I want to really think about what makes a good design and how we are reading the texts and images. This page really breaks apart two posters, one I think is good and the other I don't care for. If I can break apart why one works and the other doesn't, I can better educate others regarding design issues without getting myself frustrated. Also, small details, like the above Exit sign, really make a huge difference.
