The Unknown: An Imaginary Map of Bliss Forest

This is my Single Page Book - wax resist watercolor using wax paper laid over paper and drawn upon with a ballpoint pen. I used a blue marker and gesso to accent and emphasize the lettering. I also used a cord to tie the book closed, which becomes part of the composition of the inner pages when opened. This would be a great project to do with my upper level elementary kids or middle schoolers.
