Project Book


Ross Bleckner influenced the images. I took photos of rocks with the initial idea to use watercolor. Lauren suggested trying the Yupo paper. Images were printed on transparencies then transferred on the wet Yupo paper.

  1. I love how these turned out. I know you said you have a hard time stopping on something and knowing when that point is. I have the same issue at times. These are beautiful without you needed to touch them. These are very whimsical and the texture that is created is very interesting. I would like to see you do more and more of these, maybe even go BIG. These do look like watercolor which is cool knowing you didn't use it. I am myself a huge watercolor fan. I think this method maybe something I may try too. Good Job on these!

  2. Thanks Jennifer. Using restraint in reworking images is a HUGE problem for me. I have a couple of artists friends that I usually consult to give me some advice/assistance. I am getting better at making those decisions on my own, but sometimes...
