sandra, response to colleague Juliet

I love Juliet's way of working and her use of many materials in the process of creating a very cohesive body of work. Her surfaces are luscious particularly when she washes white over pink. With regard to her subject matter, I am reminded of an old classic book entitled; The Chalice & The Blade by Riane Eisler and the book; Women, History and Theory, The Essays of Joan Kelly.
I was very impressed by Juliet's use of many materials. The iron print and the chastity belt transfer are beautiful forms that work nicely as a repetitive image. Very nice execution of collage. I am interested in the story behind the work.
