selections the ebook

Since Donuts were such a big part of my ebook, i had to post some. I went back and added a light wash on all of them and I fell it added a lot of life to the subject.
The Silver Point was a wonderful tool, unlike the pencil, which I love, it never loses it sharp point and the line it makes is so subtle! I think my students would love to try the silver point for the wonderful fine details they could achieve.
Although I was uncomfortable doing the Memory Drawing, without looking, I really liked the results. Writing over the image and erasing some of that added a condensed variety to a very small image. Sometimes small drawings look tight but this image in a small space still looked loose, a kind of zen drawing.
The Mini-collage was fun! I love abstract art and will do more of these little studies. This small scale activity could have some large scale results when used to introduce abstract art in the classroom on all levels.
