On Friday we learned about Found Drawings and being observant of the art all around us. So on my way back from the library, I found this series of blue paint splotches on the sidewalk.
I thought this assignment was really fun because it was like an art scavenger hunt. Oftentimes we get so caught up in our own little world, we forget to look at the big wide one around us.
I have done an assignment with my high school students in which they have to photograph real world examples of the elements of art and principles of design.
Laurie! I was thinking of doing a similar thing with my kiddos - photographing the elements of art and principles of design, or these found art images - because I want to find a way to incorporate digital media into my program. :)
